A 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a mid-shift position. The facility serves the Four Corners region and operates a 48-bed emergency department with flex space, caring for a patient population that includes ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric presentations.

The role. The ED RN works within a team nursing and Pod System model, supported by a social worker assigned to the department and a unit educator. The unit maintains a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in the main ED and a 6:1 ratio in Fast Track. Clinicians work with equipment including Zoll Defibrillators, Level One Blood Transfusers, QinFlow Blood Warmers, Hospira Plum360 infusion pumps, and Ultrasound Guided IV, documenting within a Cerner EHR. The role requires competency in the management of trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation cases, as well as common presentations such as substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain.

What we're looking for.

• RN — Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• At least 2 years of acute care experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation required
• BLS required upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtained after hire.
• Open to candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure. Candidates must obtain prior to start.

Schedule. Mid shift, working a combination of 10am–10pm and 12pm–12am, 12-hour shifts.

Compensation. $29.05 - $46.48/hr plus $2 sign-on bonus
