Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team and serve children, adolescents and adults. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health counseling to individuals and groups, addressing a variety of mental health issues, and supporting clients in their journey toward recovery. This role requires a strong commitment to client care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical setting and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family and group therapy sessions to address mental health concerns.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in mental health counseling, including behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Provide crisis management support and develop safety plans for clients in distress.
• Facilitate addiction counseling sessions for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
• Engage in case management activities, coordinating care with other healthcare providers as needed.
• Implement telehealth services to reach clients who may not be able to attend in-person sessions..
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.

Experience

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or MHP Candidate.
• Proven experience in mental health counseling, including crisis management and therapy facilitation.
• Familiarity with counseling techniques and behavioral therapy practices is highly desirable.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methods is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in mental health treatment.
