As our compute business scales, deal volume scales with it, and this role exists to keep speed and control moving together instead of trading off against each other. You'll design the processes, policies, and tooling that keep pricing frameworks, deal approvals, and contract review moving fast, and you'll be the strategic finance partner Sales and RevOps come to on deal questions. Because you sit across the whole deal book, you're also positioned to spot trends in discounting and deal terms early, and to shape how the program evolves as the business grows.What You'll Be Working On:Develop processes and procedures to ensure financial governance of our deal quoting and approval workflowBe a strategic business partner for Sales and RevOps on deal questions, drive creation of pricing options for standard-SKU deals, and create tooling to enable a term/prepay tradeoff frameworkReview deals against policy and approve or route for further sign-offInterpret contract language to flag terms that create financial, accounting or operational risk, and loop in Legal or Pricing when neededBuild and maintain reporting on discounting trends, deal cycle time, and policy exceptionsTake on ad hoc analysis for GTM and Finance leadership like understanding how deal terms are trending across the book of business or modeling the impact of a proposed change to the tradeoff frameworkPartner with Sales, RevOps, Legal, and Product Finance to keep the deal process moving without creating bottlenecksWhat You'll Bring to the Team:8+ years of experience in deal desk, revenue operations, sales finance, investment banking, or a similar analytical roleDemonstrated success in building and managing programs supporting the scalable operation of commercial workflowsExperience working with sales teams, ideally in an enterprise technology businessComfortable reading contracts and identifying terms that matter financially, without needing a lawyer to translateFluent in Salesforce (or a comparable CRM/CPQ tool)SQL proficiency (BigQuery or similar)Good judgment about when to move fast on a standard deal versus when to slow down and escalateBonus PointsExperience in cloud infrastructure, compute, or another capital-intensive recurring-revenue businessExposure to building or maintaining a pricing or tradeoff frameworkBenefits:Competitive compensation and equity packagesRestricted Stock UnitsPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programsComprehensive health, dental & vision insuranceEmployer contributions to HSA accountPaid parental leavePaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityProfessional development & tuition reimbursementMental health & wellness supportCommuter benefits (parking & transit)Cell phone stipend401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salaryVolunteer time offGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistanceDaily meals allowanceAdditional perks & programs specific to locationCompensation RangeCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $135,000-$165,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
