Data Science Specialist

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Data Science Specialist. Do you have experience with advancing data pipelines and enhancing the quality of genotyping/genomic data at scale? What You Will Be Doing: We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong expertise in analytics and genomics data to support the development, optimization, and scaling of data-driven solutions. This role focuses on enhancing data pipelines, improving the quality of genotyping/genomic datasets, and enabling efficient data delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research scientists, data scientists, and software engineers, to drive impactful insights and support ongoing research and development initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, improve, and optimize analytics products with a focus on scalability and efficiency. Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for large-scale genotyping/genomics datasets. Perform data preprocessing, cleansing, and transformation to ensure high-quality datasets. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues using statistical and computational methods. Implement methodologies to assess and enhance genomic and operational data quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse datasets and support research efforts. Provide technical support for daily data delivery and pipeline operations. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. Ensure alignment of developed models and analytics solutions with ongoing R&D projects. Required Skills & Experience: 4–6 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related field. Proficiency in one or more programming languages/tools: R, Python, SQL. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP. Strong experience in data preprocessing, data wrangling, and pipeline development. Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and problem decomposition. Experience working with large-scale datasets, preferably in genomics or life sciences. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly. Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional, collaborative environments. Desired Skills & Experience: Experience with genotyping/genomics data and bioinformatics workflows. Familiarity with machine learning model development and deployment. Knowledge of data quality frameworks and validation techniques. Experience in integrating heterogeneous datasets across multiple platforms. Exposure to research-driven environments or scientific collaboration. Strong business acumen and ability to align analytics with organizational goals. Pay: $42.00 – $60.00 /hr.
