This night shift pharmacist position offers a 13-week contract assignment in Stillwater, OK, with a schedule designed for work-life balance: seven consecutive 12-hour night shifts (7 pm to 7 am) followed by seven days off. The role requires an Oklahoma pharmacist license and availability for night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
- Apply pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient care
- Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies
- Utilize Meditech IT systems for pharmacy operations
- Licensed pharmacist in Oklahoma
- Experience in order verification and clinical pharmacy duties
- Comfort working independently during night shifts
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Familiarity with Meditech software preferred
- Wednesday through the following Tuesday, 7 pm to 7 am (7 days on, 7 days off)
