Custodial Service Worker – $16.00 per Hour
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Job Type: Custodial / Janitorial
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Custodial Service Worker to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary facilities. The ideal candidate will perform routine cleaning and custodial duties while ensuring that assigned areas meet established cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, surfaces, furniture, and fixtures as assigned.
- Restock restroom supplies and other cleaning materials.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning tasks.
- Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies as required.
