Job Description The Strategic Supply Chain Leader leads all planning, procurement, inventory, and supplier performance functions to ensure reliable material availability that supports production, quality, and company growth goals. This role builds and executes supply chain strategies, mitigates sourcing risks, strengthens supplier capabilities, and drives continuous improvement across both facilities. The position partners closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management while leading the Supply Chain and Purchasing teams. Lead material planning, procurement, scheduling, and inventory control. Identify and mitigate sourcing risks; stabilize and optimize the supplier base. Oversee forecasting, S&OP inputs, and long‑range material planning. Establish and track KPIs for supplier quality, on‑time delivery, and cost performance. Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools and structured problem‑solving. Coach, lead, and develop Supply Chain and Purchasing team members. Ensure ERP accuracy, adherence to policies, and compliance with AS9100D standards. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering on new programs and improvement initiatives. Job Requirements and Qualifications Skills Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑development capabilities Advanced communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building ability Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools Skilled in Lean methodologies such as Kaizen, VSM, and visual management High‑level organizational, planning, and prioritization skills Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or APICS/CPIM/CSCP/CPSM/SCOR‑P strongly preferred 8–10 years of progressive supply chain leadership in manufacturing (aerospace preferred) Deep experience in procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and forecasting Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Global Shop preferred) Demonstrated track record of executing improvement initiatives with measurable results Work Eligibility (ITAR) This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or persons with protected status.
