X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) – Evenings

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join a busy Level II Trauma, short-term acute care hospital . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in trauma imaging and operating room procedures , and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Shift Options:
  • 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
  • 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• Schedule Type: 5x8s (Evenings/Nights)
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend (6 shifts over 3 months)
• Additional: Opportunity to pick up extra shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures
• Support imaging needs in a trauma-focused environment
• Provide intraoperative imaging support using C-Arm and/or O-Arm
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical teams
• Adapt to workflow demands, including floating to a nearby facility in Milford, CT as needed
• Accurately document procedures using EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• ARRT Certification (R) – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Experience in the Operating Room – Required
  • C-Arm experience required
  • O-Arm experience preferred
• Trauma Experience – Required
  • Level I or Level II trauma center experience strongly preferred
