Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current Registered Nurse License in the state of practice Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Minimum of one year of experience, ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, willingness to be on-call during a scheduled shift Description: Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care. Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data. Performs health teaching and counseling. Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being. Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans. Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Utilizes resources effectively as needed. Promotes mission, vision, and values and adheres to service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other departments based on business needs. May be required to be on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
