Location: Carolina Cool
Schedule: Approximately 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weeknight and weekend appointments as needed.
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Commission

Primary Job Function

The IAQ Specialist is responsible for selling the full line of products and services offered by Carolina Cool, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Indoor Air Quality solutions. This position represents the company professionally while developing customer relationships, identifying home comfort needs, and generating competitive and profitable sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Consultation
  • Analyze customers' homes as a complete comfort and efficiency system.
  • Conduct indoor air quality and home comfort assessments.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend customized solutions.
  • Present Carolina Cool products and services in a professional and consultative manner.
  • Develop and communicate detailed sales proposals to homeowners.
  • Give effective sales presentations using Carolina Cool's proven sales process.
  • Follow up on leads and sales opportunities daily.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
Business Development
  • Prospect daily for new sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong referral network.
  • Establish personal referral and repeat business opportunities.
  • Participate in community and company-sponsored events as needed.
  • Continuously expand product knowledge and industry expertise.
Customer Experience
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and Carolina Cool.
  • Build trust through professionalism, integrity, and exceptional service.
  • Handle customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience from consultation through installation.
Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience preferred, particularly within HVAC, home services, construction, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, indoor air quality products, plumbing, and electrical services is preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly with homeowners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
