Job Title: Drafter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Drafter to create and maintain detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor. You will produce fabrication, assembly, and process drawings for standard equipment, generate Bills of Materials (BOMs), and maintain drawing revisions. Collaborating closely with engineers, production personnel, and purchasing, you will ensure that drawings are accurate and buildable. Additionally, you will assist with engineering changes, design improvements, prototype development, and continuous improvement projects. Responsibilities * Create and maintain detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor. * Produce fabrication, assembly, and process drawings for standard equipment. * Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain drawing revisions. * Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and purchasing to ensure drawings are accurate and buildable. * Assist with engineering changes and design improvements. * Participate in prototype development and continuous improvement projects. Essential Skills * 1-2 years of experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo. * Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (preferred) or similar software. * Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and manufacturing practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Knowledge of plumbing systems, process piping, sanitary piping, or industrial equipment is a plus. * Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical documents. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. * MET degree is a big plus. Work Environment The work environment is onsite daily from 7-4 or 8-5. You will work closely with two engineers and have the opportunity to go on the plant floor to ask questions.
