Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available at a 100-bed hospital in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This contract position requires providing inpatient pharmacy services, utilizing IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to ensure accurate medication dispensing and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient pharmacy operations and medication distribution
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis for medication order verification and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies
• Participate in medication inventory management and quality assurance activities

Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacist license
• Approximately one year of pharmacy experience, preferably in an inpatient setting
• Ability to work full-time, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
