This includes but not limited to: assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, serving and assisting with meals, feeding, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry/liliAlways observe and uphold resident rights/liliPositively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues/liliAssist other staff as needed on the floors/liliAssist residents to and from meals/liliSupports resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked./liliMust be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of care for residents/liliKeep environment safe and clean for residents; performing housekeeping duties as indicated on cleaning schedule or assignment sheets./liliObserve residents for safety and report any and all changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner to LN on duty/liliAssist in development and revision of Service Plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches./liliAnswers all resident pendant/pull cords immediately./liliCarry and possess a working knowledge of community call/communication system/liliAll other duties as assigned./li/ulpAdditional Functions of Certified Nursing Assistant CNA / Health Care Aide HCA:/pulliMust be neat in appearance, pleasant personality, be congenial to fellow team members, residents, families, and the public in general.
