Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid Class A CDL required. Current DOT Medical Card required. FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required. Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience within the past 3 years. Clean MVR with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years. No DUI, reckless driving, or serious driving violations within the past 5 years. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices required. Experience operating automatic tractor-trailers preferred. Physical Capabilities Ability to work 10-13 hour shifts. Must be comfortable with heavy-touch freight deliveries. Frequent climbing in and out of tractor-trailer equipment. Ability to use a dolly and electric pallet jack safely and efficiently. Capable of working early morning start times and meeting delivery schedules. Job Duties Operate an automatic Class A tractor-trailer with a 53' liftgate trailer on local delivery routes. Transport retail freight including clothing, rugs, candles, and small furniture. Safely deliver freight while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Utilize a dolly and electric pallet jack to assist with freight movement as needed. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation. Provide professional customer service during deliveries and represent the company positively. Return home daily after completing assigned routes.
