Job Description

South Florida Baptist Hospital (SFBH) , a 146-bed hospital located in the growing community of Plant City, Florida is seeking two dynamic Gastroenterologists to enhance and expand GI services.

Some highlights of this exciting opportunity include:

These are new positions to help meet the overwhelming need in the Plant City and surrounding communities.
South Florida Baptist Hospital is a brand-new replacement hospital that opened in the Spring of 2024.
The hospital includes three endoscopy suites with ample scheduling available, in addition to a full complement of scopes, and experienced endoscopy staff.
ER call responsibilities will be 1:3, shared with community Gastroenterologists. The ER at South Florida Baptist Hospital is on schedule for 38,000 visits annually.
One single Hospitalist group onsite.
The office is attached to the hospital, in a multi-specialty medical office suite.

We're looking for team-oriented, forward-thinking physicians dedicated to enhancing the patient experience with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

Board Certification or Board Eligibility by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology.
Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
