Job Description
South Florida Baptist Hospital (SFBH) , a 146-bed hospital located in the growing community of Plant City, Florida is seeking two dynamic Gastroenterologists to enhance and expand GI services.
Some highlights of this exciting opportunity include:
- These are new positions to help meet the overwhelming need in the Plant City and surrounding communities.
- South Florida Baptist Hospital is a brand-new replacement hospital that opened in the Spring of 2024.
- The hospital includes three endoscopy suites with ample scheduling available, in addition to a full complement of scopes, and experienced endoscopy staff.
- ER call responsibilities will be 1:3, shared with community Gastroenterologists. The ER at South Florida Baptist Hospital is on schedule for 38,000 visits annually.
- One single Hospitalist group onsite.
- The office is attached to the hospital, in a multi-specialty medical office suite.
We're looking for team-oriented, forward-thinking physicians dedicated to enhancing the patient experience with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility by The American Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology.
- Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
