Description

American Traveler is hiring a PreOp RN with CA licensure and at least 3 years of ambulatory surgery/phase II experience for a day shift role at an acute care hospital.

Details

• Acute care hospital PreOp unit
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ambulatory surgery/Phase II experience within the past 2 years required
• EPIC charting experience required

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care and patient/family education
• Delivers holistic, individualized care and manages interdisciplinary plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors
• Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Max RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Returning employees must have a one-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted at local rate; 50-mile radius rule applies
