PLUMBER JOURNEYMAN OR MASTER (FULL-TIME)
Jetson Home
Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, yet adoption of solutions like heat pumps remains slow due to cost and complexity. Jetson is solving this by building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company — making clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable.
We rely heavily on technology, automation, and data to scale this impact. At Jetson, we value people who are excellent at their craft, curious about new tools (including AI), and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done.
We're bringing Jetson to Denver and we're looking for a licensed Master Plumber to lead heat pump water heater installations and fossil fuel system removals in the field. You'll be one of the first boots on the ground in Colorado — doing important work, building something from the start, and helping homeowners make the switch to clean, efficient hot water.
Install heat pump water heaters in residential homes — from site assessment through final commissioning.
Remove and decommission existing gas and fossil fuel water heating systems safely and to code.
Handle all associated plumbing rough-in and finish work — supply lines, discharge lines, pressure relief, condensate drainage, and connections to existing systems.
Coordinate with our electrical partners on circuit requirements and ensure installs are ready for electrical tie-in.
Conduct pre-install site assessments — identify space, clearance, drainage, and venting requirements and flag anything that needs attention before install day.
Ensure every job meets local code requirements and passes inspection — first time.
Work closely with the Jetson ops team on scheduling, parts, and job status so nothing falls through the cracks.
Active Colorado Master Plumber license (required).
3-5+ years of hands-on residential plumbing experience, including water heater installation and replacement.
Familiarity with heat pump water heaters — or a strong eagerness to become the go-to expert on them fast.
Experience with gas line capping, disconnection, and decommissioning of fossil fuel appliances.
Solid understanding of local plumbing codes and permitting processes in the Denver metro area.
Reliable, organized, and able to manage your day independently in the field.
Prior experience with heat pump water heater brands like Rheem, A.Familiarity with electrical rough-in or coordination with electrical crews.
Experience working for a home services company with CRM/job management tools.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30 - $45 per hour
Roles Jetson is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
