Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse Bakersfield, California
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The role involves supervising and directing activities of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines, and applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (required); Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) (required); AHA Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS) (required); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) (required); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) (required); acute care experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience.
• Additional Information: Facility scheduling is based on departmental needs; block scheduling and special scheduling requests will not be accommodated.
