RN Clinician

Overview Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care, has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Registered Nurse (Clinician) in Boulder. We're seeking a full-time RN to join our oncology clinic, supporting a practice of four physicians and working closely with advanced practice providers (APPs) and MDs in delivering exceptional patient care. This desk-based role is ideal for an experienced oncology nurse who wants to build meaningful patient relationships outside of bedside care. Responsibilities include phone-based symptom triage, chemotherapy education, supporting newly diagnosed patients, managing anticoagulation therapy, handling prescription refills and prior authorizations, and communicating critical lab results. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients navigate complex care needs. Flexible scheduling options are available—choose between 4 x 9-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days. Eligible nurses with OCN certification receive OCN Incentive Pay after 90 days of employment or upon certification. Responsibilities Coordination of patient care with both internal and outside entities Triage patient calls regarding treatment and symptom management Oversee patient compliance and adherence to oral chemotherapy regimens Assist in patient education and follow-up after initial chemotherapy regimens Assist physicians with IKM chemotherapy regimens Manage electronic and call-in prescriptions and management of narcotic and chemotherapy refill requests Assist with calling patients lab results and scans as needed Assist the MA staff with disability and FMLA paperwork Act as a liaison between physician outside resources Act as liaison between the infusion suite and the physicians/mid-level providers Qualifications Graduate from an accredited professional nursing education program; BSN preferred. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must maintain continuing education requirements. Minimum two years nursing experience required, oncology experience preferred.
