This position is for a Landscape Crew Leader with a landscape contractor located in Meridian, MS (15 miles east of Meridian).

Must be organized, trustworthy, sharp-minded, courteous and able to get along well with others. Non-tobacco company. Pay depends on experience and demonstration that you are capable of meeting company standards and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for supervising a crew of 2-6 landscape technicians
• Responsible for landscape technician's quality and efficiency of work
• Oversee the safety rules and regulations according to company standards
• Responsible for the proper usage of all equipment and tools (zero turn mowers, trimmers and other outdoor power equipment)
• Must provide outstanding customer service, well organized, trust worthy, sharp minded, courteous and able to get along well with others
• Be able to drive up to one ton trucks (including trucks with manual transmissions); trucks may involve pulling trailers
• Installation of plants, mulch, irrigation systems, lighting systems, patios, decks etc. May be exposed to chemicals and fertilizers
• Training will be provided in all areas

Requirements and Qualifications: 12 months experience; valid driver's license; access to reliable transportation; ability to pass pre-employment test and background check.
Pay scale for the Crew Leader position is $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience and demonstration that you are capable of meeting company standards and requirements.
