Position Title Assistant Principal – Hillsboro High School (Job ID: 458) Position Purpose Assist the school principal in the overall administration of the instructional program and operations at the campus level. Coordinate assigned student activities and services. Must have thorough understanding of school administrative operations. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Supervise campus functions and activities after regular school hours. Equipment Use standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copier, fax machines, and telephone. Travel Requirements Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required. Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards Work in standard office and school building environments. Qualifications Education/Certification: Master’s degree from an accredited university. Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate. Certified Texas Teacher Support and Evaluation System (T‑TESS) appraiser. Special Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of campus operations. Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness. Ability to manage budget and personnel. Ability to implement policy and procedures. Ability to interpret data. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience Extensive successful teaching experience.
