Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Denton, TX! This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $19 - 22.53/hour (Based on years of experience & education) Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection following established procedures. Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections. Explain blood-drawing and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients. Verify patient demographic information and confirm patient identification prior to collection. Ensure specimen tubes are correctly labeled in the patient's presence. Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing as required. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining specimen integrity. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and patient information. Follow established safety, infection-control, and company procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive, comfortable patient experience. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED Experience with: Pediatric collections Geriatric collections Capillary collections Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
