PSC Registration Rep

Our client, a medical research company, is looking for a PSC Registration Rep for their Springfield, OR location. Responsibilities include greeting customers appropriately, treating all customers in a courteous manner, assisting patients with kiosk sign-in, ensuring accuracy of same, contacting clients to obtain patient orders, handling customer inquiries, reading, understanding, and complying with departmental policies, protocols and procedures, performing basic clerical duties, demonstrating organizational commitment and values of Quest Diagnostics, adhering to departmental and company policies, reporting on time to work, following attendance guidelines, answering the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner, using established protocols for reporting customer complaints, ensuring that HIPPA compliance regulations are followed, using test translation tables, completing all required training, assisting with stocking of supplies, and completing special projects as requested by supervisor or manager.

Requirements include one year customer service experience, keyboard/data entry and PC experience, prolonged standing/sitting, able to lift up to 25 pounds; carrying up to 15 pounds for several minutes at a time, talking, vision - requires constant mental visual attention to details, walking, balancing bending/kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching/twisting. Medical terminology is helpful, not required. Skills include strong communication skills, able to speak clearly and effectively communicate to customers and peer groups, demonstrates good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting, able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise consistent, independent, sound judgment. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
