Program Highlights Approximately 25,000 annual Emergency Department visits 110-bed hospital 19 Emergency Department beds Level III Trauma Center 24-hour physician coverage 12-hour NP/PA coverage EMR system: Cerner Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute conditions Perform patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning Stabilize and manage emergent and urgent medical conditions Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards Support patient safety and patient satisfaction initiatives Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented emergency care environment Comprehensive Financial Package May Include Competitive compensation Commencement bonus Residency/Fellowship stipend Annual CME allowance Relocation assistance Licenses, dues, and subscriptions Vacation benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you.
