Endocrinologist

Job Summary Grandview Medical Center is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Endocrinologist to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and pituitary conditions Develop and manage individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards Stay current with advancements in endocrinology through continuing medical education Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research (if applicable) Work Environment & Schedule Outpatient-focused practice with with shared after hours call coverage (telephone only) Strong primary care network consisting of 50 providers Typical Monday through Friday schedule with dedicated administrative time Average Daily Patient Census 18-22 patients Compensation & Benefits May Include Competitive salary commensurate with experience Incentive compensation structure based on WRUV production Medical Education Debt Assistance (if applicable) Residency/Fellowship Stipend (if applicable) Relocation expenses Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance Vacation, health, dental, vision benefits CME, Licensure, Dues, Subscriptions annual allowance provided Retirement plan with employer contribution About the Hospital Grandview Medical Center is a 434-bed tertiary care hospital serving Birmingham and surrounding communities.
