Assembler/Machine Operator

Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the handwork line. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand dexterity, and the ability to multitask , which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler/Machine Operator

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay Range: $16-16.50

Shift: 2:30-11pm Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform handwork tasks such as putting spiraling and binding on educational materials

• Strip away perforated edges on materials as assigned

• Box materials efficiently and accurately

• Separate pages and add tabs with strong hand dexterity

• Coil books and support other tasks as needed to maintain workflow

• Operate Bindery Machine

What's Needed?

• Reliable transportation

• Machine Operator experience

• Ability to life 20-30 lbs.

• Ability to read a ruler

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Able to communicate in English

• Reliable attendance
