Job Description

The Claims Administrator (CA) is responsible for validating and processing claims related to promotional offers, ensuring compliance with OSMG, client and Kroger policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal and external partners to resolve issues and improve claim processes.

Key Responsibilities

 

· Maintain professional relationships with client Accounts Receivable/Deduction teams.

· Research and resolve claim issues promptly and accurately.

· Process deductions in client systems according to established policies and guidelines.

· Educate clients on Kroger’s policies, procedures, and systems.

· Provide documentation and data as requested by Kroger and clients.

· Meet or exceed productivity and deadline expectations.

· Identify root causes of claim issues and collaborate with internal teams to prevent future errors.

· Escalate complex issues to the Senior Claims Administrator when necessary.

· Apply advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to validate and follow up on claims.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Experience

 

· Minimum 1 year of claims/deduction experience preferred.

· Experience in CPG industry and sales administration preferred.

 

Skills

 

· Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to develop training materials and communicate effectively in person or virtually.

· Integrity and reliability—deliver on commitments.

· Professional and ethical representation of OSMG.

· Strong administrative skills and relationship management experience.

· Highly organized, resourceful, and adaptable under pressure.

· Strong communication and listening skills.

 

Education:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

 

Technical:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).

· Basic computer operations and navigation of drives, networks, and cloud systems.

· Ability to operate standard office equipment
