Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, taking time to explain methodologies with thoughtfulness and care
• Engage in close cooperation with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic results
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment effectively, addressing any technical challenges swiftly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records in the electronic health system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferable completion from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus

Skills Needed
