Food Service Attendant - Casual (Per diem)

UPMC Cole is hiring a casual Food Service Attendant to work between the hours of 3:45pm to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday, every other weekend and holiday. This position is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction with food service utilizing customer service skills. Delivers and serves nutritionally appropriate and attractive meals in a timely manner. Practices appropriate food handling techniques and food safety procedures in all aspects of job. Includes every other weekend and holiday. What You'll Do Prepare and assemble meals according to menus, diet orders, and customer needs. Serve patients, guests, and residents in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards. Set up serving areas and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for meal service. Stock food and supplies as needed. Assist with dining room duties, including bussing and sanitizing tables. Deliver meals and provide excellent customer service. Follow infection prevention, hand hygiene, and food safety procedures. Ideal Candidate Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
