Clients Blackbox is in a major growth period, and we're looking for a Senior Paid Media Strategist / Paid Media Lead who can own client performance across media buying, strategy, messaging, creative testing, and client communication.

The Opportunity

This is a senior hands-on role for an experienced performance marketer who can operate beyond Ads Manager.

You'll own a portfolio of client accounts end to end - leading client conversations, managing Meta performance, writing direct-response copy and video sales letter scripts, developing testing strategies, and diagnosing where performance can improve across the funnel.

You'll report to the Associate Director of Operations and be directly accountable for client performance, relationships, and retention.

What You'll Own

Client Strategy & Relationships

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary strategic point of contact
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities

Paid Media Performance

• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other key acquisition metrics
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine where changes are most likely to improve results
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and campaign variables

Copy & Creative Strategy

• Write direct-response ad copy and video sales letter scripts for financial services audiences
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality and strategic judgment

Tracking & Funnel Execution

• Set up and troubleshoot tracking, Meta pixels, and conversion events
• Configure Calendly integrations, Zapier automations, and lead-routing workflows
• Identify and resolve technical issues between advertising platforms and client systems
• Evaluate performance across media, messaging, tracking, and lead flow to identify the source of funnel problems

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with substantial Meta advertising responsibility

• Experience simultaneously managing multiple client accounts and leading client-facing strategy conversations
• Proven ability to manage campaigns toward defined performance targets while supporting client retention
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills, including ad copy and scripts
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and basic marketing automation
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills

How You Work

You take ownership. When performance drops, you investigate the account, identify the likely cause, develop a strategy, and act. You're comfortable moving between media buying, client strategy, copy, creative, and funnel performance without losing sight of the bigger picture.

You can explain complex performance issues clearly, make decisions based on data, and operate with a high level of accountability. You want to be responsible for making the account work - not one of several people waiting for someone else to make the call.
