Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations, screenings, and ongoing treatment for students in a school-based setting, focusing on fine motor skills, self-care, handwriting, sensory processing, and participation in classroom activities
- Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families to develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals; document progress in required systems
- Deliver direct therapy and/or consultative services to birth-to-three and three-to-five age groups; support school staff with strategies to promote participation and functional skills
- Maintain compliant, timely documentation and ensure alignment with state and district policies; participate in safeguarding student safety and confidentiality
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding goals, progress, and recommended supports
- Schedule follows a Monday-Friday workweek; note that pay is for hours actually worked, with no pay for school holidays or closings

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Oregon (OT) required
- Experience working in Oregon school-based settings, with emphasis on birth-to-three and three-to-five age groups
- Ability to work effectively in a school-based environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to implement and adapt therapy plans within the school day
- Availability to work daytime hours on weekdays for the duration of the assignment
