As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality physical therapy interventions under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your dedication will ensure that our residents receive the care they need to improve their quality of life.

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Assure all treatment is delivered following an established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
• Complete required forms and documentation following company policy and state/federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education)
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist
• Empathy and patience when working with patients
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises
• Need 1 year experience in setting
