Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in East Palestine, Ohio. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their physical therapy goals and regain independence in their daily lives. About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions
Conducting physical therapy treatments, such as exercises, stretches, and modalities
Educating patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for rehabilitation and post-rehabilitation care
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
Adapting treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient
Requirements
Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Ohio
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
