ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 1-2 years of ICU experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Work in an 8-bed ICU/CCU unit within an acute care hospital

Serves patients of all ages, with common diagnoses including respiratory failure

Patient ratio of 1:2-3

Uses Cerner EHR

Night shift schedule, 7PM-7AM

Weekend coverage required every other weekend

Call requirements as needed

Floating required with a 1:6 ratio

Active RN license (NC or Compact) required

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

1-2 years of ICU experience required

Education, licensure, and certification required to work as an RN in North Carolina

Deliver high-acuity ICU nursing care, including management of respiratory failure cases

Weekly orientation held on Mondays

Scrubs of any color permitted; no casual attire allowed

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
