Senior Network Test Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Test Engineer in Irving, TX. Responsibilities:

• Senior Network Test Engineer will collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements, identify risks, and support project objectives
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate system functionality and performance
• Review requirements and documentation to identify gaps, ambiguities, and testable conditions
• Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing
• Validate system configurations, connectivity, performance, reliability, and overall solution quality
• Create and maintain test environments, test data, and supporting documentation
• Capture and analyze test results, logs, and other evidence to support defect identification and resolution
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues across applications, systems, networks, and configurations
• As a Senior Network Test Engineer, you will track and manage defects through resolution and retesting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle
• Support implementation activities, production validation, and post-deployment testing efforts
• Contribute to process improvements through automation, scripting, and standardized testing practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous delivery initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, testing, systems validation, or a related technical field
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test strategies
• Experience performing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Experience identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting defects
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or technology deployments
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, networking concepts, or enterprise technologies
• Familiarity with test management, defect tracking, and reporting tools
• Knowledge of system, application, or infrastructure troubleshooting concepts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Relevant industry certifications are a plus
