Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Level 2 RN Med Surg for an 8-week travel assignment in Willcox, AZ. This role involves working in a supportive medical-surgical environment where you will utilize your expertise and skills to provide high-quality patient care. A minimum of three years of experience is required.

Key Responsibilities of the Level 2 RN Med Surg

• Provide general nursing care to patients.
• Maintain current certifications and licensure as required.
• Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals on patient care.
• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients to encourage cooperation and understanding.
• Counsel patients and family members before, during, and after treatment.
• Educate patients and families on medication use, dosage, and side effects.
• Respond to inquiries, concerns, and complaints from patients.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
• Place, change, and check catheters as needed.
• Conduct physical assessments and track input/output as needed.
• Serve as a patient advocate according to their care plans.
• Work with equipment, other staff, and devices to safely move or lift patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Utilize medical pass and medication dispense machines to administer medication.

Requirements of the Level 2 RN Med Surg

• Current AZ or Compact RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
