Job Description
Title: Physical Therapist

Schedule:
Days: Monday - Friday
Shift: 8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:
- Active Physical Therapist License in the state
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy
- Experience in acute care (highly preferred)
- Skills checklist current within the last year, pertinent to the specialty

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' functions through formal and informal testing to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
- Develop goal-specific treatment regimens based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
- Submit written treatment regimens as part of the plan authorized by the physician.
- Co-sign verbal orders received from physical therapist assistants as necessary.
- Coordinate treatment schedules, discussing frequency and duration with patients and caregivers.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, alternatives, and rationale for treatment methods.
