Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take the next step in your occupational therapy career supporting students in the Houston area. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact across a group of 6 to 7 school campuses, serving students ages 3–21 within a defined geographic zone. You’ll work closely with school teams to conduct evaluations, attend ARD meetings, and deliver crucial therapy services—all while enjoying a more consultative caseload model that keeps your direct treatment responsibilities focused and steady.

What you’ll need to bring:

• Active Texas OT Licensure (required)
• Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred; highly experienced COTAs are welcomed
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage rotating caseloads: a blend of consultation and direct therapy (typically 30–40 students on direct service at any one time)
• Comfort working independently as the lead OT across multiple campuses
• Familiarity with SHARES and Onward software or readiness to learn new tools
• Availability for full-time hours (35 weekly, typical school hours)
• Willingness to complete required fingerprinting for district compliance

• Maintain careful documentation, including logging IEP data and reports

• Focus on direct service and consultation, with reliable support and manageable caseloads
