Job Details:


• 8-hour day shifts with alternating weekly schedules: 4 shifts one week (32-hour guarantee) and 5 shifts the next week (40-hour guarantee) during a 2-week pay period
• Shift times include 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM and 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Scheduled late shifts on average twice per week
• No call, no weekends, and no holiday requirements
• Must have strong overall OR experience
• Experience with orthopedic cases including total joints, scopes, fractures, and podiatry preferred
• Common cases include ortho, GYN, ENT, and ophthalmology
• Department operates 10 suites plus 2 procedure rooms with an average of 40-50 cases per day
• Staff may be shared with the Inpatient OR on campus as needed
• Scrubbing is not required for RNs but is considered helpful
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Valid nursing license required for submission

This acute care facility operates a robust Ambulatory Surgery OR department featuring 10 surgical suites and 2 procedure rooms, handling 40-50 cases per day across a variety of specialties. The department utilizes a modified self-scheduling approach, giving clinical staff flexibility in selecting preferred shifts and days off. The facility provides scrubs and maintains a collaborative environment with shared staffing between ambulatory and inpatient OR settings to support comprehensive surgical care.
