The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Schedule This position includes a variable schedule with 12-hour night shifts. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical environment. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families regarding health and wellness. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical / Surgical setting. Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Current NIH Stroke Certification. Preferred: AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. Holiday Expectations The Registered Nurse must be able to work on 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).
