Essential Functions Perform all duties associated with Member Service Specialist I and II positions, including teller duties and new account functions. Deliver sales and service excellence through increased cross‑selling opportunities for additional products and services, including debt protection coverage on loans. Open complex accounts (trust, estate, guardianship, representative payee) and business accounts, clearly presenting, explaining, and maintaining account terms and conditions to meet compliance requirements. Obtain required documentation to complete the loan interview process. Complete loan processes, including application processing, document preparation, and loan disbursement upon approval. Answer general loan inquiries, such as calculating payoff statements, updating payment information, and adjusting debt protection products. Adhere to all credit union compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) guidelines and regulations relevant to the position. Perform other office operations related duties as assigned by the Office Manager or authorized party. Travel between credit union branches as assigned. The role encompasses pay grades 5 through 7. Incumbents are placed within a specific range based on experience, with a starting rate of $21 per hour, up to $24 per hour based on experience. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1–3 years of similar or related experience aligning with MSS I and MSS II skill sets (Teller and New Accounts). Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
