Registered Nurse - PCU 12 Hour Days

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a mixed acuity unit including Intermediate Care, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical settings. The unit handles direct admits, ED admits, post cath lab, among others, with a focus on cardiac care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient caseloads with a typical RN to patient ratio of 1:4, acuity dependent.
• Support patients with conditions such as MI, NSTEMI, STEMI, CHF, and dysrhythmia management.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Completion of a nursing education program and Registered Nurse license from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Experience with cardiac procedural recovery, MI pharmacology, and cardiac rhythm interpretation required.
