Overview Staff Today is seeking a local contract nurse (Correctional) for a local contract nursing job in Beaumont, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Correctional Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Beaumont, Virginia . These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate : $47/hour Shift Details Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Qualifications At least one year (12 months) of experience as an RN. A valid and current RN license issued by the State of VA A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) Job Responsibilities Provide general nursing care to patients. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Prepare equipment and assist physician during treatments and examinations. Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or physician of patient condition and reactions to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations and assess patient condition. May assist with basic patient care such as beds, bathing, and feeding.
