Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you'll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
• BLS certification
• 2 years' experience as a nuclear med tech
• NJ license
• ARRT certification
• Must have a combination of NMT and CT certifications
• Experience in adult outpatient clinics and nuclear cardiology
• Experience with GE equipment
• Experience with gastric emptying, bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation, captopril, myocardial scans, and SPECT including bone, thyroid, and cardiac imaging

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Schedule: Block scheduling Monday through Friday
• Weekend requirement: No
• On-call requirement: No
• Unit information: Outpatient clinic
• Charting system: EPIC
• Average caseload: 6-8 cases per day
