Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is the longest active multispecialty, same-day surgery center in the Hagerstown area! The facility has 1 operating room with general anesthesia capabilities, 2 treatment rooms with local/monitored anesthesia care capabilities, 1 preoperative area and 1 post anesthesia care area.

Schedule

Schedule includes: Monday‑Friday (8 hour shifts). PRN providers must work 1 day per week or a minimum of 6 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the anesthesia department.
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.
• Pre‑anesthesia assessment.
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition.
• Perform clinical interventions as needed.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited college of medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Current license as a physician.

Total Rewards

W2 hourly rate: $350/hr. 1099 hourly rate: $350/hr. (must provide own medical malpractice).
