Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Charleston, SC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist will perform general and vascular ultrasound procedures, including arterial vascular experience. Responsibilities will also include assisting with procedures such as parasynthesis, thoracentesis, thyroid biopsies, and ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded in the Meditech system.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general and vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Document findings accurately and promptly in the Meditech documentation system.
• Assist in various procedures such as biopsies and fluid aspiration.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Adhere to safety and radiation policies to ensure patient and staff safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have ARDMS and RVT certifications (preferred).
• General and Vascular Ultrasound experience is required.
• Advanced skills in arterial vascular ultrasound are necessary.
