Here, you will make an impact by:Inspecting product to determine compliance with order specifications, customer requirements, and company's quality control systemAssuring compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standardsExcellent visual skills to detect minute non-conformances (ex: cracks, voids, tool marks, etc.)Operate small hand tools and process equipment with dexterityWork with precision tools and equipment using good judgment to prevent damage to equipment, to understand equipment operation, and to be efficientYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)Previous quality inspection experience in a private, public, government, or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience in an aerospace or defense related industrySecurity ClearanceWork location: Clarkston, GARelocation Assistance: Not AuthorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
