Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) specializing in HVAC and Plumbing Systems to join a growing engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects from concept through construction, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide innovative mechanical design solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from conceptual design through construction completion.
• Design, analyze, and troubleshoot HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients.
• Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
• Develop project scopes, proposals, and fee estimates.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and quality procedures.
• Perform construction administration duties, including reviewing RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain effective communication among stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Proven experience leading engineering design projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and document coordination.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and consultants.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
