Location: Fitzgerald, GA 31750

Pay Rate: $15.00 Hourly

Shift Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Job Overview:

The Process Technician is responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automated blow molding and injection molding equipment. This position ensures production efficiency, product quality, and equipment reliability while following all safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:

• Operate and maintain automated blow molding and injection molding equipment
• Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments
• Make mechanical repairs within the designated work area
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary setting adjustments
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks
• Follow product specifications, material requirements, and customer requests
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications
• Enter downtime and scrap information into PICS
• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow all safety procedures
• Attend required training sessions and weekly team meetings
• Follow ISO standards and company policies
• Report food safety concerns immediately
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Self-motivated and flexible with job assignments
• Strong technical and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn through continuous training
• Associate's Degree in Plastics Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field preferred
• Relevant manufacturing or technical experience will be considered in place of education

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
• Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. with assistance
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday
• Frequently use hands for gripping, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and operating tools
• Climb ladders, stairs, platforms, and scaffolding as needed
• Work around machinery, conveyors, confined spaces, and heights up to 20 feet
