Cardiac Clinical Specialist Associate - Remote About the Role: We are looking for a Cardiac Clinical Specialist to join our Medical Products Division. As a leading manufacturer of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes for hernia repair, and sutures. This role will cover the territory of all of the United States; the candidate must reside in Los Angeles, California, or surrounding areas. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations in Los Angeles, California, or surrounding areas. Pay and Benefits: $140,000-$150,000 per year Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics Factors considered in extending an offer within this pay range include (but not limited to) education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities Medical, Dental and Vision benefits effective on Day 1 of employment! More details are available at Responsibilities: Assist doctors in patient screening, case planning, and device selection Troubleshoot problem cases Provide technical support during clinical ASD and PFO CLOSURE cases Conduct in-house and field-based training programs for Gore associates Provide simulation-based training to Interventional Cardiologists, Nurses, and Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology Fellows Provide hospital in-services to Interventional Cardiologists, Nurses, and Fellows Help develop materials for doctor- and associate-training programs Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years related experience with/in the nursing, radiation technology, operating room, cath. lab, radiology/cardiology departments or other medical device support roles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Track record of successfully adapting to changing product and project commitments Availability to support emergent cases in your local market, including remaining “on call”, which could result in the need to work nights and weekends when necessary Current, valid driver's license Demonstrated ability to apply medical, surgical, and interventional skills and terminology Ability to perform the responsibilities of this role at our customer locations, which includes meeting vendor credentialing and hospital access requirements for healthcare professionals, relative to immunizations (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines) Ability to travel up to 90% per month, with the agility to adapt to frequent changes in travel schedules (e.g., to support emergency clinical cases) and must reside in Los Angeles, or surrounding areas Desired Qualifications: Degree in nursing, life sciences, education or similar experience This role requires ongoing access to U.S. hospitals and compliance with facility-specific access policies (which may include a requirement to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with one of the COVID-19 vaccines), vendor credentialing requirements including drug screening, background checks, immunization and training.
